UChicago Research Bangladesh

UChicago Research Bangladesh (URB) is an international non-profit research organization affiliated with the University of Chicago, USA. URB conducts research, training, and community service activities for the improvement of human health in Bangladesh and beyond. URB also works closely with scientists, health professionals and policy makers from partner institutions in Bangladesh, the USA, and other countries.

-Cause, prevention and management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
-Maternal and child health research.
-Research on primary health care in the community.
-Prevention of disease through health education and promotion.
-Cause and prevention of eye disease.
-Oral health research.
-Research on occupational health hazards.
-Urban health research.
-Research on climate change and health effects.
-Research on mental health and wellbeing.
-Violence and health effects research.
-Biological and molecular determinants of health risk and outcomes.
-Cancer registry in Bangladesh.
-Research using electronic health record systems, including (mHealth).
