Yuen Campus in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Academic Complex | The University of Chicago Francis and Rose Yuen Campus in Hong Kong is home to faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates working and studying in Hong Kong. With the institutional support of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust as well as support from alumni, parents, and friends led by University Trustee Francis Tin Fan Yuen and his wife, Rose Wai Mun Yuen, the campus is a hub for ambitious research, education, and collaboration in Hong Kong, China and Asia, building upon the University’s rich history of scholarship in the region.

The Hong Kong campus houses The University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive MBA Program Asia and its Executive Education non-degree courses for professionals, as well as the University’s first undergraduate study abroad program in Hong Kong. It is also home to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation, which is supported by The Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation at Chicago Booth to empower Hong Kong’s NGOs and social entrepreneurs in delivering their best work for social impact. The Hong Kong campus also hosts academic workshops, conferences, and public lectures fulfilling its role as a resource for researchers and students and as a venue for alumni from all throughout Asia to convene.

The campus is built on the historically important site at Mount Davis, which includes The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Heritage Campus, housing The Hong Kong Jockey Club University of Chicago Heritage Courtyard and Interpretation Centre that will be open to the public in December. It will present permanent and rotating exhibits highlighting the history of the site to the public.
