Madhav Rajan became the University of Chicago's first Chief Global Strategist in June 2025, taking on responsibility for shaping and implementing a strategy that reflects UChicago's commitments to rigorous education and research worldwide. In this role, he oversees UChicago Global and the University's international campuses.
Katie Hrinyak leads UChicago Global, overseeing the University's international engagement through a Chicago-based team and centers in Beijing, Delhi, and Hong Kong. She manages the office's strategic partnerships, funding programs, and operational infrastructure, ensuring the University can pursue ambitious global work responsibly and at scale.
