Professor HU Suping is currently the chief physician and associate professor in the Department of Respiratory Medicine and deputy director of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University. She is also head of the teaching reform course "Clinical Pathology, Pathophysiology and Therapeutics" (CPPT) in the Medical Department of Wuhan University. In 2006, she received a doctorate degree in internal medicine from Wuhan University. 

Professor Hu has engaged in clinical medicine and teaching for 36 years. She won 3 Provincial Science and Technology Progress Awards (third and fifth), participated in the editing of 13 monographs, and published 30 papers. She is responsible for the preparation and construction of the CPPT of the teaching reform curriculum integrating basic and clinical, led the teaching team, completed 10 rounds of teaching work, and trained twenty master’s students.
