Graduate Students

UChicago provides dedicated resources for graduate students and postdocs to receive personalized, flexible training to complement their academic pursuits—from fellowship and writing support, to career preparation and internships, to training in public speaking and networking.

Graduate students become experts in their fields. They delve into research of international importance alongside world-renowned faculty, and they forge their own investigations.  Our community of 10,500 graduate students extends from labs and classrooms in Hyde Park to global centers and campuses around the world. A few examples include: the Graham School's Travel Study program, a curriculum-driven, one- to two-week trip led by UChicago faculty and alumni experts or the Pritzker School of Medicine's Global Health Scholarship Track, a comprehensive four-year curriculum in which students participate in two international experiences at sites in such locations as South America, West Africa, and South Asia.  To learn more about global opportunities for graduates, visit the department pages.
